Over the past many decades, Mugs Freeman has been an unrelenting force for preservation and showcasing Diablo's historic homes. Her vision for a book to capture the stories of these homes was championed by Dee and Tony Geisler, and ultimately executed by a group of dedicated volunteers from the Historic Preservation Committee under their leadership. The "Diablo Treasures" book was published and distributed to all Diablo residents in 2020. This walking tour is the culmination of that effort and our "launch celebration".
If you would like to purchase a "Diablo Treasures" book, please contact us.
This event is made possible by generous community donations toward Historic Preservation and the Diablo Property Owners’ Association.
