Our flags go up along our entrances around Memorial Day, 4th of July, 9/11, and Veterans Day. The custom designed display was conceived back in 2011 by Jeff Mini, a long time dedicated volunteer. The DPOA provides the coordination, manpower and funding to install and maintain it. It is a true labor of love.
Diablo residents loved the flags so much they started asking the DPOA for a flag in their yard. Realizing we did not have ability to Install hundreds of flags four times a year, we created a fundraiser “Double your contribution and receive a flag to keep as a thank you gift.”
To request a flag of your own, we invite you to double your contribution to the DPOA. Greg Lorenz, our volunteer flag coordinator, will reach out to coordinate. Please be patient. These flags are a custom labor of love and are produced in small batches.
